Snorkelers will be having the one of a lifetime experience exploring the two magnificent house reefs of Abu Dabbab Bay. Watching the giant sea turtles feeding on the seagrass, and many kinds of marine life cavorting around coral formations.

Dugong, dolphin and even whale shark encounter at the bay occur many times on different seasons. As well, Blue Ocean arranges scheduled speedboat tours to find turtles and rare dugongs.

Blue Ocean Dive Center, located on Abu Dabbab Beach, has a spacious area for gearing up, equipment rinse, lockers, equipment rental, classrooms and dive shop. Nitrox is available, Blue Ocean Dive Center offers house reef diving, speedboat trips, free diving, daily boat trips, mini safaris. in addition to a full range of diving courses and training. Blue Ocean Dive is an authorized PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center.

Elphinstone reef is only 30 minutes sailing by a modern speedboat from Abu Dabbab Beach. Blue Ocean speedboats are lined up to cruise to other fine offshore dive sites of Marsa Alam such as Um Halhala , the Garden Reef, Shaab Abu Dabbab I, Shaab Abu Dabbab II, Shaab Abu Dabbab III
